iReasoning Free Rust SNMP Agent License Agreement

Please read this agreement carefully. By installing or using the Product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Product.

Licensed product: iReasoning Free Rust SNMP Agent

1. License Grant

iDeskCentric Inc. (“iReasoning”) grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and use the executable form of the Product for personal, educational, governmental, nonprofit, and commercial purposes, including production network monitoring. No purchase or license fee is required for this use.

2. Ownership

The Product is licensed, not sold. iReasoning and its licensors retain all ownership, copyright, and other intellectual-property rights in the Product. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in this Agreement.

3. Restrictions

Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you may not:

  1. modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Product;
  2. reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code or internal protocols from the Product;
  3. sell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, host, or otherwise transfer the Product or any portion of it to another person or organization;
  4. remove or alter copyright, trademark, license, or proprietary notices; or
  5. use iReasoning names, logos, or marks to endorse or promote another product without prior written permission.

You may make reasonable backup copies solely for your own licensed use.

4. Third-Party Components

The Product may contain third-party components governed by their respective licenses. Those notices and licenses are provided with the Product and apply in addition to this Agreement.

5. Support and Updates

The Product is provided free of charge. This Agreement does not entitle you to technical support, maintenance, updates, upgrades, or continued availability. iReasoning may change or discontinue the Product at any time.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TESTING THE PRODUCT AND FOR THE SECURITY OF YOUR CONFIGURATION AND NETWORK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IREASONING AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCT. IREASONING’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT, WHICH FOR THIS FREE PRODUCT IS ZERO.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of Sections 6 or 7 may not apply to you.

8. Export and Legal Compliance

You must comply with all applicable export-control, sanctions, import, privacy, security, and other laws governing your use of the Product.

9. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using and destroy all copies of the Product.

10. General

This Agreement is the complete agreement concerning the Product and may be amended only in writing by iReasoning. It is governed by the laws of California, U.S.A., excluding conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
